The Business Services Gateway is to design and develop an integrated Multi-service Gateway device to provide application level gateway support for Voice, Data, and Video as well as other applications for the Small and Medium Business market. The device provides a high-level security set of data features for direct connectivity to Internet Service Provide. In particular it provides line-rate Layer-3 IP routing, Layer-2 Ethernet switching, Stateful Firewall, DHCP multi-scope server function, Network Address Translation (NAT), Virtual Private Network application, and integrated wireless LAN support (WiFi access point), SIP-enabled Voice Over IP proxy function with a wide range of IP Phone sets with back-ward compatibility with traditional Analog telephone sets.
